Albert Hall Museum

It is one of the oldest museum and now presently functions as one of the oldest museums of the State. It was named after the visit of king Edward VII, after whose visit in 1876, the foundation stone of this structure was laid. The building was designed by Sir Samuel Swinton Jacob and was assisted in this activity by Mir Tujumool Hoosein. It was opened as a public museum in 1887. It is also known as the government central museum.
